A new study shows that you should let your dog (or really any animal) lick you. The germs they give you will help build your immune system to help battle against being sick in the future.

Police Racial Bias | SEVEN DAYS
It’s for an essay about the case of Shamel Alexander, an African-American sentenced to 10 years for being a low-level drug dealer despite having no record and other extenuating circumstances. The Vermont Supreme Court is hearing an appeal this week to take into account racial bias by the police.

Graying of the web | Hemispheres Magazine
Here is something new I made for Hemispheres magazine. It’s for an essay on how using the internet and computers seems like a 20 something year old millennial game. However, folks who are 40+ also are as much or are more well versed in using computers and the internet as those who are younger.
