Here is my first piece of the year for the Globe & Mail. A 69 year old man puts his old man griping aside and learns how to use a touch based smart phone. After purchasing a smart phone over craigslist, he finds that the smart phone he bought is a brick (a dead beyond repair cell phone.) He contacts the seller and strikes a deal to fix one of his other cell phones in place of the phone he had sold him. He later finds out that the person who sold him the phone and later fixes phones is a 12 year old kid.
