Considering taking a continuing education class in illustration, but you have a hectic schedule? Do you not want to get off your day job, pick up whatever you need for class and then drive/take public transit to a class room where you might not get 100% of the teacher’s attention?
Consider taking one of my Indy Study Classes in Illustration this Spring in one of three subjects!
- Editorial Illustration Portfolio - Learn the fundamentals of what makes a strong editorial piece and begin to build a series of pieces toward a portfolio made for the editorial market. We’ll go over marketing, the history of editorial illustration and so much more.
- Visual Story Telling - Have you considered writing a picture book or starting to write a full length graphic novel? In this class we talk about story structure and how to work on a series of images that work well together.
- Lettering & Picture Making (NEW!) - Posters, Records, Book Covers, Magazine Covers… All of these at one point have been illustrated and hand lettered. Through a series of projects and exercises, you’ll be well on your way to becoming an improved illustrator and hand letterer.
Space is limited to 6 students, Sign up by January 30th!
